Tanya Pinnock

Tanya Pinnock is the Co-Chair of the Islington Violence Against Women and Girls Strategic Board and the Home Safe Practitioner for Islington Council. After suffering Domestic abuse herself, Pinnock is devoted to making the world a safer space for women. She speaks openly and honestly about the difficulties that women who want to leave abusive partners experience, and the level of support they need to reclaim their lives. Pinnock is extremely passionate about preventative measures and aims to teach children and young people about the realities of domestic violence and how to prevent it. She also works with Islington children who have experienced domestic abuse, helping them to repair and recover from the trauma.

Pinnock is an inspirational woman, using her own terrible experiences to help others and save lives. She is devoted and passionate and helps the people that she works with to feel confident again.
